are you using the Fangs of Asterkarn beta or are you on the regular GD?
The tool makes a backup (instead of .gdc it is .g00 for the most recent one, .g01 for the one before that and so forth), so you can copy that backup back to .gdc to restore the correct caracter
fangs, and actually never had such a problem before
Well, it is the first time it is writing the new format, so far it failed to read it…
Found an issue, try this .jar and let me know how it goes. If this does not work, I will need to take a longer / closer look

I can’t seem to get GD Stash to work with Reign of Terror. Every character I open as soon as I save it, it causes Grim Dawn to crash on launch. When importing the database it also has several unknown tag errors.
which version of GD and GD Stash are you using? Make sure you are on the latest one for GD Stash (1.8.0b)
yeah i used the one you just uploaded above and same errors
Oh and current GD version and version 0.7.7 of Reign of Terror mod.

Should fix the issue with the old char save format on non-beta GD… Please let me know whether it does, I have no issues with a modified old char on the Fangs of Asterkarn beta with it

Hi I’m quite new to all this and just wanted to start using GDStash yesterday but I keep getting these errors whenever I try to store items.
Not sure if there is another log file I should provide or similar so please let me know if that is the case.

Did you import the database in the configuration window? Also which version of the Stash are you using because it was updated yesterday/today.
yes I did several times and I’m on version 1.8.0
1.8.0c is the latest version. And where did you put the Stash?
I updated to the newest version and now it works just fine! Thanks for your time and sorry that I didn’t realize on my own
make sure you are on the latest version, there were some bugfixes released yesterday. This looks like you are not on 1.8.0c yet, but some earlier 1.8.0 version

looks like I still have a weird problem with char editing. this time, if I delete 1 or both masteries and refresh the page, this window appears
and char is basically wiped out from existence; also while trying to load it or scroll thru the game crashes.
do you delete the masteries, then save, and then refresh or do you refresh without saving? How exactly do you remove the masteries?
This is a weird one, I changed nothing about the mastery removal, will have to see if I can replicate it
