The data is straight from database.arz, which means yours is different than what comes with GD. I assume that you are using a mod that changed it, if so, the mod author should look into this. I am surprised that this does not get him into trouble with GD itself (maybe it does and he just does not know…).
If you are not using a mod, try verifying the game integrity via Steam / reinstalling with GoG.
I’m not using any mods, and I tried deleting it and verifying game integrity through Steam, I’ll try a pure reinstall tomorrow or if someone can upload the file, download it.
I need explicit, detailed instructions on how to get this to work on my PC. It would be nice if those were listed as one of the first things in the original post too. Something other than “its java, derp”. Thanks. I don’t see a .jar file anywhere after extracting the zip file. That’s what I typically look for with java programs.
I’m getting “Errors occurred during operation” any time I try to do anything. “GD_ITEM” Does not exist, etc. My character’s stats are listed in the applicable tab, but none of the inventory is. Trying to “reload” always gets the above error. I’m confused as hell. Its telling me to import the database upon restarting the program, but I thought I already did that?
Ok, I managed to get it working now. Some error must have occurred importing the database the first time, I’m not sure, but it worked the second time. Its a nice program, thanks for your work.
Glad to hear it. I was a very uninformed user of software like this when I first endeavoured to get it working oh so long ago and it can be very daunting for people like us who aren’t very fluent in languages like this.
I found the ReadMe to be very helpful and that, coupled with Mamba’s ever-present and awesome support got it working for me and I swear by this tool now. It really has enhanced by GD experience.
Again, really happy to hear that there is just another happy user of GD Stash.
