Anyway, I agree that it should be an option selectable upon first time running the program. It’s standard practice and even GD pops up asking if you’d like to send in anonymous data on first time installation.
This prohibits the illegal gathering of information this guy does permanently unless he switches his website host.

I gave you 48h+ to put a disclaimer of the informations you are gathering into the post with the download link.

@slipperypete, can you please let me know how to restore back up? I had the back up saved to my other drive: E:\Games\Save backup grim dawn\Stash back up\EvilSoft\IAGD
i see the back ups for everyday that are 10mb each.
I just reinstalled my OS system to a SSD and copied Grim dawn to the SSD. Now if i launch the assistant it says could not inject dll into process 5420 and i’m unable to restore the back up.
Also, every time i start the assistant it will be parsing database.

1 more question though, is there a way that we can force the assistant to back up? i have it opened for like 10 min and i still don’t see the back up for Sunday. It some how triggers itself to back up at a random time. Can you add a button in the UI to force it to back up?
Improved the speed at which IA updates item database
Improved loading screen when updating GD Item database
This is the first step in adding full support for custom items in mods.
Current plan is to let you choose between vanilla, mod1, mod2, mod3 etc…
If you switch between mods all the time it might be a pain to re-parse the database every time, but at least it will function properly.
Absolutely no idea what will happen if you transfer an item which does not exist in the current mod (eg an “unknown item”)
Or would it be preferable to keep separate inventories for each mod? No item sharing across mods?
