What is a conclave? Where is this? I’ve not played Grim Dawn for years.
I’d love to be able to reproduce the issue.
The transfer files are copies of your in-game stash.
If you replace your existing transfer.gst with one of the backup ones, your ingame stash will be replaced with the one from the backup.
Eg you lose any NEW items in the in-game stash, but get back the ones that were there before IA looted them.
Then you can copy back the existing file, to get back your existing stash.
but I did the transfer almost a week ago. would IA still have my Bysmiel sets? I can’t remember exactly which day. so, I go into the zip file and found export.ias. what do I do with this file?
how do I import that export file back to IA?
Problem is I got thos Bysmiel sets weeks ago. I don’t remember know which day I got them. I just transferred every set into IA. 
Make a copy of all your stash files.
I’ll see if I can’t get an easier restore functionality into IA. It should not be needed, but it turns out it is…
However, if you look on the forum here, there are tools that lets you search for items in stash files. Those can probably quickly locate the correct file.
I see. but I am very stupid when it comes to this sort of stuff. lol i don’t know how to search. so i find the item name Bysmiel Trinket and then make copies??
I found import under Setting in IA but I can’t locate the IA export.ias file. it’s uder Appdata folder but I can’t find it in my computer. why is that?
Because by default that folder is hidden. You should first extract that export.ias to some place (like Desktop) and test it. One by one. First the most recent .zip archive and back to the oldest one.
Or easier if you remember when you are 100% sure those items were in IA. For example if you know they were in IA on Sunday . Then extract export.ias from the Sunday.zip to your Desktop and Import it into IA. Then restart IA and look if your set is there
Yeah simpler functionality for restoring would be good. Like a menu with all stored IA databases and so the user can select which one he 'd like to restore it from.
yes yes yes!!! i fixed it. I used %appdata% to search for AppData and then found IA backup files and did an Import and all my Bysmiels pieces went back to IA and then I transferred one at a time and it worked!!! thanks
IA didnt xfer an item I sent when I was using stash in conclave today and now the item is no longer in IA stash. Guess theres an issues using IA in conclave?
As I have no idea what this conclave is, any chance you can share a character file where the character is at this conclave?

Is the issue reproducible on that version?
No. I’ve transfered lots of items while being in Conclave. Everything is ok.

You can get there by taking the portal their emissary opens. The emissary shows up in towns once you have killed the Warden.
Two things…
One which may shed some light on your observations, is that IA never truly knows your position.
When you click Go to position X, IA will store position X as your location.
This can create some weird situations where IA thinks your stash is actually somewhere else than it is, in terms of distance etc.

I checked today, and the majority of IA users are still on a version prior to me patching an “item looted but not stored successfully” bug. Hopefully this fixes it, but who knows…

I see the current update has changed a bunch of items, what should I do to update my IA stash?
Load Database and then Update Item Stats?
Or a Clean Database before that?
I’m getting the following errors while using item assistant

Do you have all the tabs unlocked in the shared stash? Also check to make sure that you IA set to take items from one tab and put them into a different tab in the shared stash.
I have all but one unlocked, do I need to unlock all to be able to use IA?
This is a ss from advanced setting in IA here Tab 2 - 5 are greyed out, I was hoping I could use tabs 4 and 3 to transfer items.
Doh! I found out what my problem was, I didn’t know that I had private and shared stashes, I toggled my shared stashes bought one extra and now it works.
