Can you send me a DB Export? So I can see the exact records in play?
I spawned one in IA and it displays just fine:

Also, your UI looks a bit messed up… Try looking at the help entry for 4k monitors

The image in the 4k help is broken (for me). I tried changing the dpi scaling setting. It was on application. When I disable it it’s even worse. When I set it to system or system (advanced) the UI is ok, but the text on the items (and help) is blurry:
Is the +summoning limit new with a recent patch?
If so, you will need to click “update item stats” on the “Grim Dawn” tab to ensure IA fetches new stats from GD.
medals with movement rune get flagged as soulbound/transmuted and aren’t transferred in 1.4 (using the latest release from github).
I have no idea what this means.
I have not played Grim Dawn since early access.
(Have tried it briefly since, but I have no idea what a movement rune is, or a rune for that matter)
No it’s not new.
I’ll try updating the item stats anyway later today and see if that fixes it.
with forgotten gods we got runes that are applied only to medals much like augments to other gear, they provide movement abilities like blitz or shadows strike. unlike augments they do not make the medal soulbound so they can go in the shared stash. the newer gdia shows a message that a medal with such a rune is soulbound and does not transfer it (older versions did transfer it). i don’t see a related message in the log.
It’s a tool I’ve been using almost since I started the game. It’s really great. I also use it between home and work thanks to the cloud feature.
I used Item-Assistant with different mods, and the mods I used were not actually mods that added new items. So they are cross-usable items.
So when searching for items, it would be nice to search for items in the IA item pool instead of just searching for mod items. If this is possible, it would be great if you can do it.
Also a shortcut to transfer mod items stored in IA to another mod in bulk would be nice.
I recently upgraded GDIA when I was prompted to do so after starting it.
Now I get this when trying to start.

Never mind. Removed and reinstalled. Working now.
The latest version, [1.4.9086.17686] causes extreme stuttering in game with what looks like CPU bottlenecking in both my AMD windows 11 laptop and my Intel windows 10 desktop. Also, the downgrade button in the program does not work. Reverting to [1.4.9063.13827] fixes it.
Do you have real item stats parsed for all your items?
The stuttering could be explained by IA parsing item stats for your items.
The only thing that changed in the latest version was a fix for IA not parsing real item stats for some items in some cases.
If you do have real item stats for all your items already, it might be an issue with the update itself.
(And if you don’t, it’ll stutter for a couple of minutes and then it should return to normal)
I reupdated to latest planning to give it time to parse, but it worked immediately with no stuttering. Maybe it had finished just prior to me rolling back to previous version. Either way, all seems to be working now. Thank you!
Hey, slipperypete.
First of all just want to say thank you for your work. I have been using your program for years now.
I’m having a problem with IA. Since last patch I can’t deposit items on it - the game freezes instantly. I don’t know if this is a new patch problem or because I recently became a praetorian.
Do you know any possible fix?
If you’re on the internal testing then yes, it’s likely that’s what’s causing it. Same as we can’t use GDStash atm.
If you’re on v1.2.1.3 then the tool might need updating to work with it.
This is it then. Thank you, medea.
Just reporting that since today’s patch(v1.2.1.4), GDIA does not want to run concurrently with the game. If I launch it with the the game open it instantly closes. If I launch GDIA first it’s fine till I the launch the game, then it gives an error and closes before I can read what the error says.
EDIT: Was able to snip the error. IA says “Stash Error” There is an issue detecting the status of your in-game stash. This often indicates an issue injecting the IA dll into the game due to permission issues. Try running IA as administrator.
Running as admin worked, so in the end I solved my own problem, but figured I’d leave this up for others.
Is there any forum thread that has a beta code for downloading the playtest version?
they’re talking fangs of asterkarn invite only test, i think they can do without gdia for a while. ![]()
Ah, makes sense.
Due to the nature of the changes, IAGD will not be updated before the expansion is released.
Assuming that I have available time when it’s released, I expect 2-5 days to update IA.
In the meantime, it’s possible to import your items into GD Stash so that you don’t lose access to them while playing the expansion.
