Sorry to be a bother, but is there a way for me to download it from another host? Zippyshare is requiring me to download some shareware/bloatware with it, and my AVG reported the site as having a virus within the links, and I’d rather not have to do that. sorry to be a pain. :undecided:

Do you mean the item’s pictures? Re-load the databases for vanilla and then any mods you have, and update the stats. THat’s fixed the problem for me before

Ah, most likely my ad blocker has blocked all that crap, never had a problem.
Just re-download the http://grimdawn.dreamcrash.org/ia/adlit.GDItemAssistant_Update.exe update
Hopefully the issue has been resolved now.
No need to change the userdata file

OK, so I partly figured out some of the issue on my end. My Brother’s Grimarillion was showing up when he hosted as “Grimarillion” while mine was “grimarillion”. Seems items I got from playing with him were coming into IA under the “Grimarillion” while ones I got on my own were “grimarillion”.

Anyhow, it seems that this is part of what was also causing my general shared stash issues. Since when I play multiplayer its basically only with him, I’ve changed mine to be “G…” Is there a way to have IA combine everything again but instead of into “grimarillion” into “Grimarillion”? I’m sure I’m being a giant PITA now, so if I am just let me know

EDIT1 - Trying to move the program with another program and its reporting CRC errors with the .db file.
EDIT2 - The program is also reporting that this file is FAT and not NTFS. All my drives are NTFS - haven’t used FAT since Win2000 :).
EDIT 3 - Just did a system restore to 2 weeks ago and still get the same error code.

EDIT 4 - I would ask to send you the file to see if you can get it to work. It has almost 3 years of farming in it and would hate to lose it. If so add 1 health pot so the CRC value gets updated and maybe will fix my issue. Would very much appreciate any help with this.

EDIT 6 - Finally was able to extract the damaged file and got most of my stash back…phewwwww - all my legendaries are back!!!

If anyone needs help getting a damaged backup zip back use Winzip as it will extract parts of the damaged file it could read and save it to a spot you specify but you will lose something. But getting most back is better than nothing at all. 7-zip and winrar wouldnt do it.

Actually, 7-zip and winrar can do that. You just have to check the option “keep broken files” when extracting.

Just so I make sure I’m doing it right, I install v1.0, replace and load my back up data, then run update v1.1 (2nd rev), and it should see my items? I tried a couple of times. Closest I got was all items listed but all unidentified and not fixed by reparsing db.

This one will ONLY work as a patch/update.
Its stripped of many essential files (which are rarely updated) in order to reduce the file size.

Unfortunately, the new update doesn’t work.

I first opened my v1.0 IA and it displayed everything correctly item wise, albeit segregated by the different Grimarillion versions. I then ran the update. It ran an auto-update of items, and then opened, displaying nothing. I then pasted over my back-up db file, which still didn’t change anything. It did however on the backup tab state that it was showing 460/488 items backed up to the autobackup online feature. I logged in again, confirmed my email, and it then proceeded to back up the rest. However this didn’t change that nothing displayed. I then parsed vanilla and grimarillion again, twice each, which took about 10 minutes each time. Still nothing. If I click on one of the sort check boxes, like Pierce, it states “Displaying 250 of 0”, and shows all green question mark placeholders without any actual item data. I’ve included all my log files, some screenshots, and my most recent backups.

Right, I can see whats going on… Just not quite why…
I can’t do much more until I’m on a real PC.

Email me your userdata on [email protected] and I’ll change the mod to uppercase for now.

I’ll get it fixed in the next update once im on a PC =)

Known issue:

Transferring items with the smith open (crafting menu) may result in item loss.
The items can be restored from backup, but non the less a bit inconvenient.

A fix is coming “soon” ™.
