[Tool] Grim Internals

Thanks a lot!! :))

Btw I lost it a bit :x
Is there a way to move the window of the kills or remove it completely?
Ok after rereading your thread u found out about control+f5
Will check and inform later wheb i got time
Thanks again

Ok works perfectly and its lovely tyyyy

The only issue i have its that sometimes…just sometimes the game wont run with it.
It just goes black screen with the loading icon on mouse.
To get it back to work(the game) i have to replay the normal client of the game
and then close the client. Then i run the utility and voila!
Its happens 1 in 5 times per day

Yeah, that’s a weird issue!
But it seems that it happens only when running my tool together with the
Steam version of Grim Dawn. I can run this tool together with the GoG version
without any flaws; at least I’ve noticed none yet.

So, Darkstalix, if you don’t want the infos about number of kills and number of
loot items found, and only want to see your debuffs in text format, I can make a special
version without those unnecessary infos for you.

Thank you for giving feedback!

no its ok ;p
The only thing id love was to be able to save the options of Ctrl+F5
or even save if enabled before. Not for each character tho

Update V1.27

  • added config file
  • added support for GrimCam (if installed)

Since im very intrested in the cam mod too…how can i run them both with yours?
And the cfg file is for?

thanks for still working on this

To clarify it a bit:
My tool loads the GrimCam.dll by default if it exists in the Grim Dawn folder.
So there is no need start GrimCam.exe separately.
You can enable/disable the automated loading of GrimCam.dll by editing the
config file “GrimInternals.ini”, look for a line “UseGrimCamDll”
and change the parameter to True or False.

Answer:

Holy shit!! tyyyy

Update V1.28

  • fixed a bug that could cause the tool to crash
  • enabled realtime combat log in console (disable it with the Configurator, hotkey CTRL+F5)

Any plans to develop this into something similar to Grim Damage?

No, I have no plans yet! Ofc a small in-game damage meter overlay without balderdash could be nice.

Been using this for a few days now and lovin it! Keep up the good work!

Cause i have no idea how the mods or your tool works in GD i was wondering if it could add healthbars above monsters? :x

Thanks! I’m glad you like it!

I don’t know how to implement healthbars atm, but I added the option to display the health
and energy values of monsters in text format instead.
I hope you like it anyway.

Update V1.29

  • added option: “DisableSkillNotReadySfx”
  • added option: “ShowMonsterHealth”
  • both options are disabled by default

Update V1.29a

  • small bugfixes
  • color adjustments for health-/energy values
  • tweaked the spacing between the health-/energy text lines

Hey, I just downloaded V1.29a and when I check the show monster hp, I can’t move my character.

Also, I think it’d be neat to have a separate option to just show hp and not energy.

Edit: It seems opening the config (ctrl + f5) is what does it not the monster hp option. Exiting to menu then going back to the game fixes it. I can move my character when I bind move to another hotkey other than left click.

Weird i dont have that*stacked character when i enable this
I use steam version maybe you have GoG?

I gotta say i like the numbers since Im sure its not viable for bars

Id suggest this if possible tho:
option to remove health / power words
and…

dun dun Duuuuuun
make health numbers green default and as it goes down to death go form green-orange-yellow-brown-red
Hopefully you understand what i meant xD

Thanks for your love on the tool, amazing

I tested my tool on Windows 10, Steam and GOG version, on my PC and on a Laptop,
but I’ve never noticed a behavior like you’ve described.
Which version of Windows do you have installed?

Thanks for providing me with suggestions!

Update V1.29b

  • added more ShowMonsterHealth options
  • added colored health values (*)
  • removed energy values for monsters
  • monster hp >= 80% colorCode {^g} = green
  • monster hp 60-79% colorCode {^o} = orange
  • monster hp 40-59% colorCode {^y} = yellow
  • monster hp 20-39% colorCode {^e} = brown
  • monster hp 00-19% colorCode {^r} = red

ARE YOU F******G KIDDING ME??
THIS IS F******G AWESOME!

THANKS! THANKS SO MUCH

Im sorry for my caps the guys I was so excited

The only small issue is with the brown code, looks less bright than other colors and when the red color comes in line it just brights up again.
I mean that all the colors are very nice and bright apart from brown. My mistake suggesting this color.
Maybe start from 39% up to 00% on red only?
