Both traders offer 7 gold per plank. One trader has 1 green arrow up. The other trader has two green arrows up.
I wonder if there’s a hidden decimal value (higher with the double arrow up), while being rounded down

You are probably right. But if we don’t get paid in decimal the arrows should still refer to the rounded number.
The other thing I could think of is, maybe the arrows refer to the price the specific vendors usual prices. In that case it would make sense that the arrows differ but it would be confusing.
Yes, I too find this annoying, it should be a higher price!
Perhaps the arrows refer to what the previous price was. If one was 5 and the other was 6 then it would be two arrows up and one arrow up respectively.
