Translation errors of the game in French language

hello, This is probably not your priority, but there are naming errors in the French translation. What a shame…

Please report them as a bug then. We do not speak French and cannot review the text.

Thank you for that clarification
Myself, I worded it wrong by using “that’s a shame” rather “what a shame”

‘What a shame’ is also okay.

Please log a bug report so the team can review the errors and update the translation, thanks.

Hello,
In french :

  • “Charreterie” is not correct, we say “Atelier du charron” if we want to designate the place where the carts are made

  • “cabine de chasse” is not correct, it says “Affût” or “echelle d’affût” or even “Mirador” as it is represented in the game

  • “Préserverie” is not correct, using “Conserverie” would be better

  • I have a doubt about “Apothicairie”, it would be better to say “Loge d’Apothicaire” in the logic of your translations

  • “Sablonnière” is not correct, We say “Sablière” for a sand quarry, et “Gravière” for gravels

  • “Tissanderie” is not correct, we say “Maison de Tisserand”

I remain at your disposal for any further information
Cordially

I don’t follow.

What’s wrong with this one? Seems like a direct translation.

The others have been adjusted.

Hello,
Sorry, I went into too much detail.
In France, we do not say “cabine de chasse” but we speak of a “Affût”, in popular language we specify “Affût de chasse” but it is not literary.
[For detail, a “Affût” can be on the ground or in height. In the second case, it is called either a “Mirador” or a “échelle d’affût”]

Concerning “Apothecary”, the term existed well in the Middle Ages and has completely disappeared since.
it’s ok, don’t change anything
