Transmog system(s)

This is mostly aimed at devs as a suggestion, but I’ll gladly hear your thoughts too:

I don’t think that an RPG in this day and age works without the Transmogrification system(s). I am not opposed to “gotta catch them all” + basic looks like in Diablo III. The mod is ok, but imo, you shouldn’t need a mod for this.

So, any possibility of seeing an official version of this? Choosing between aesthetics and mechanics is so 2005(or even earlier :O).
