As we know those wonderful farmers love to weed our fields and rid them of rocks.
Hmm… ,Mega Rocks good! but they feel like a hack or an afterthought albeit a good solution, your farms are a re-spawnable rock provider in small quantities, perhaps a collection scale of rocks to stone would provide an organic passive income of stones such as.
1% 10% Rockiness 1 stone per work cycle, increasing 1 stone per each 10 % so that 80% Rockiness would produce 8 Stone per work cycle.
This could be a great way to allow a small amount of stone to come into the villages economy organically lessoning over time as the fields become less rocky and increasing as and when the field gets rockier.
I think this one was discussed a while back but it’s a fair point. From memory the general consensus reached then was that field stones would generally be considered too small to do much with, although there could be some larger stuff dug up during any initial clearing.
Mega rocks were indeed an afterthought when there turned out to be something of an issue with running out. Plans are afoot to bring in later-game quarries and deep mines, which will presumably then see the megarock erratics lessen or disappear altogether.
