Are you trying to land a pun on me?
I know that you are an experienced player and didnāt want to insult anybody. I just wanted to show, that it can be worth it to pick up and sell yellow items, even for veteran GD players, at least in my opinion.
I simply auto pickup by keybind and selling the stuff is very fast. Full inventory takes like 10 sec. As comparison, at the end of Normal, I always sit at around 1 Mio. Iron Bits.
The additonal clicks never bothered me personally and I have the freedom of buying and crafting all the stuff I need, without relying on my shared stash at all.
Added to that, there are a lot of useful yellow items, especially until the end of Act I.
Oh, I still look at yellows, with the help of my handy keybind that brings them momentarily into view. Once youāve played enough you donāt actually need to look at most items tho. After awhile you can just read the names and know what to expect. If something catches your eye, well, there ya go. Take a closer look or pick it up. Keep on a truckinā.
Any tips about aether crystals? Without farming I got to the end of normal and only had 70 of the little sods even though Iād smashed and looted every aether crystal source I could find. Considering how many you need for crafting just about everything, is there a way to get more of them without specifically farming? Same goes for seals of binding. Got to the end of normal and only had about 12. Maybe just picking them up as you go and farm them when necessary?
Donāt get me wrong, this game is superb and I savour every minute of it but it isnāt until elite that the game got really interesting, at least for me.
Is there a trick to leveling the experience for the different factions quickly? There seems to be diminishing returns on re-killing boss mobs for rep and the bounties give such a small amount of rep it would take hours of bounties on veteran to get to nemesis. If you got to nemesis on veteran would you actually be able to kill the nemesis mob when you run into it?
Ah, yeah. Forgot about those writs and mandates, though I was never sure when to purchase them. Also if you use a writ you canāt use a mandate, right? So is it best to wait to level 70 to buy these or is the lower level one worth using?
The only writ worth it is the one for the black legion imo as the rest of the factions are easy to get to revered just by playing the game (as in not bounty farming). Once you get to revered on one character the mandates are able to be put in the stash for other characters.
