I have the Mythical Stormheart dagger and the three notes from Dravis and a salt bag amulet. Am in the secret place within the Necropolis (the right secret place I’m pretty sure) but no bound spirit is appearing.
Does the Mythical Stormheart not work as part of the set ? I can’t do the Tomb of Korvaak as I’m not aligned with Kymon’s Chosen. Any ideas on what I need to do to move forward ?
You need the non mythical stormheart. I can do Tomb of Korvaak just fine even if I am not sided with Kymons.
The wiki pages said the Tomb was not accessible if you did not side with Kymon, but then it also goes on to says you can do it regardless if you are doing the secret quest, so I guess I’ll go give it a shot then 
strange that you have the letters even though you did not have non mythical stormheart in your inventory…
To acquire the letter, the player must first have equipped, or in their inventory, the Legendary Dagger Stormheart.

I can explain that one. I created them.
Just completed the tomb so I’m going to remove them and follow the quest line properly. Given I have actually completed the original quest line do I actually need to recollect the notes (should be easy just boring to do it all over again) ?

strange, perhaps for this quest, you actually need to get the letters legit, since when they drop there is a sound effect and text on the screen. Perhaps this is needed for the quest log to proceed? (well its a hidden quest log)
Originally I did get the letters legit in-game, but this character is a clone of another one, and even though the original character may have done the original quest line, for some reason it did come across when cloned. Not to worry, should be able to do quests fairly quick. Thanks for the help, at least I now know I’m barking up the right tree.
It’s the secret section of the tomb that is only available if you side with Kymon. You get access to it after he gives you a quest to go there. The main section is always available.
