Goal, is to not be 1hko’d, and heal more then they can damage. Trying for an immortal necro/vampire-y type. With skeletons.
Question is - is 142 percent life leech too much/not enough (I know my damage isnt 100k tier) or should i switch some of the parts off for more def oriented gear, like titan’s shoulders or something with a resistance boost proc (Was thinking about it). No augments or components (besides prismatic diamond) on it at the moment.
There, augments and components are in, everything except pierce is maxed, Can I have some real answers now? (without augments and components i think it’s safe to say most characters can max nearly all resistances).
I would recommend moving giant blood to one of the Necro toggle buffs so its always active. With it on BoD its possible that it wont be active when you need it (because you forgot to recast BoD or you got stunned/interrupted).
the life leech % on siphon, sigil and reaping strike only applies to those skills. so you don’t have 142% life steal. more like 40-50% or so (depends a bit on the actual random roll of the items). the reaping strike will (sort of) also stack with your default life steal since it has a weapon damage component (your normal ~45% life steal will only apply to that part, the innate 40+% of the skill should apply to the whole damage including the innate vit/aether damage)
imo, if you’re going to rely so much on life leech, you should probably pick up the rattosh constellation. i think that’s the only constellation that has a reduction to LL resistance.
EDIT: i guess you could bind that one to your skeleton army. they should make sure that the debuff is up on many targets (doesn’t seem to have a cooldown, so i think it’s an ideal devotion power for mass skeletons)
EDIT2: you should also put the other devotion powers to something else. devotions on weapon pool skills are usually a bad idea (15% chance to trigger on a skill that only has a 25% chance to trigger on auto attack - won’t see them often).
i’ve used wendigo on curse of frailty on a vit conjurer a while back. worked quite nicely (i think CoF “ticks” every second, so if you throw it on a large ball of critters, it will spread quite fast). i guess raise the dead on a WPS is ok. that power is trash anyway (the constellation is probably still decent since it adds some % life steal to your pets)
EDIT3 (lol): overall, i’m sceptic if that build is any good, tbh. those pets will be pretty useless on higher difficulties since you have almost no pet bonuses on your gear and no pet devotions or anything to support them. pets without gear support are really just visual clutter that dies instantly on ultimate.
