Upgraded bakery's new recipe : cake

It would be nice if we can make cake as luxury item from the upgraded bakery.
Required materials : flour + egg + milk + honey.
It will be a luxury for tier 4 and prerequisite for upgrading to the tier 5 houses.

Very rarely do people’s suggestions actually fit in with the current game mechanics or otherwise. Congrats on coming up with one that fits in nicely.

That’s a nice suggestion, I also suggested a bakery upgrade with new products in my post about butter. Hope to see it in the game…

With the announcement of upcoming features, including chicken coop and the addition of a Bakery upgrade, it is not far fetched they will make something similar, maybe not cake, but right now villagers eat rough bread made out of water and flour, so a flour + egg +milk + honey bread, definitely will be a god send to those poor wretched souls!

My great grandmother used to make something she called ‘Bishop’s Bread’, a fancy loaf of cake-like consistency flavored with cinnamon and other expensive spices. Since the game already has or is proposing to add eggs, spices, honey, milk, and flour, fancy baked goods using all or some of those ingredients are, I suspect, almost a certainty.

Game already as all thouse ingredients… so HOW DARE YOU CRATE… TO LEAVE THE CAKE OUT OF THE GAME!!!

joke aside… great simple idea Chris_Pappas! :+1:

Given that all the ingredients are already in-game (although I suspect that the new to-be-added chickens will produce ‘special’ eggs for baking), one wonders how far back they started planning the Upgraded Bakery and its potential Luxury Products . . .

No special eggs, just a more stable /reliable source for those eggs, right now is too RNG/map dependant.

Yep, on the best maps with foragers working every egg ‘resource’ I can find, I usually gather enough eggs for every villager to get about 1 egg per week - not eggactly enough for regular baking.
