Just bought a load of grain and immediately transferred it out of the trading post. Only storage I have to accept it is the granaries, but it isn’t in those or any other storage facilities.
I don’t believe anything can be transferred out of the trading post to storage at this time. Your villagers should be able to use the grain when they need it though. Not certain if they pick it up from the trading post or if it magically floats to where it is needed.
Haven’t seen anything/anyone picking it up from the Trading Post, but Grain, the one time I bought it within the past 3 days, (post Version 8) ‘magically’ went to the Mills and was used. I was keeping track of it because I needed the ‘extra’ type of food to upgrade some houses . . .
The not transferring from trading post came as a surprise to me - I couldn’t figure out why I was getting a ‘full barrel’ marker on the trading post after a couple of heavy trading sessions!
Yeah, I just went back in game and checked other stuff I’ve been buying and none of it’s transferred. Storage facilities only hold the stuff I’ve made, nothing that I’ve bought. It’s all accessible to my villagers though.
My mill is using some grain, but I have over 1,300 that I bought and only the one mill so I doubt it’s holding all that. Iirc it had about 200 in store. I have no marker that my trading post is full though.
They will be picking it up from the tradepost’s hidden global storage. No teleporting. Hit f3 to bring up the worker details that show you what they’re carrying if you want to stalk them to double check. Goods will decay in the hidden global storage, just not in the stocked storage.
