Recently experiencing lock-up of some world builder buttons (e.g. Storage or Resources). Not all the buttons on the menu freeze - not sure if it is the same buttons every time but if it happens again, I’ll add an update. I can’t detect a pattern in play but usually my population is around the 250-350 mark, and I typically play at 3x speed. Problem Resolution: Save the game, Quit, and relaunch the game using Continue.

What do you mean by world builder buttons? As in you can’t press only specific buttons in the build menu?
Have you verified game files?
I worked out what the problem is. I play in full screen mode. Behind Furthest Frontiers, McAfee will randomly create pop-ups of security events that it places in the lower right of the screen. The locked/unusable buttons always coincide with the size of the pop-up happening invisibly underneath FF, which is why it seemed random. I’ve tested it and if I ctrl+alt+del and choose Task Manager, then close the McAfee pop-up, the buttons are usable again without having to exit the game.
World builder buttons are I think what you are referring to as the build menu. Yes, verified game files. See next post for root cause.
