Besides the shield mechanism problem, I personally don’t like turtle. Turtle is more suitable in HC mode. Despite turtle has some decent nodes with it, the skill itself is more focused on mitigating spike damage rather than sustain. However when you are already familiar enough with the game and the build (whichever) you are currently playing, you should be able to predict the damage you take from various type of minions/bosses/environment. In this case, I wouldn’t put any point in my endgame build because there is no need.
However, you can freely put points on turtle depending on your play style and gears, it helps with mitigate some spike damage.
So installed 1.0.0.2 on my laptop (while my desktop stays at 1.0.0.1 ).
I just cannot kill Fabius now - my regen cannot out do his dots… this is really stupid. Before patch i could face tank him and use a potion here and there, but now he just mows me down and i am helpless. Guess i wont play on the patched version
You don’t actually need any hp regen on gears, however you will need them on components and augments. If you are level 85 character, 100 hp/s without any buffs/proc is a bit too low. I at least you need 300 after patch. Try to get hp regen components like antivenon, and augments with %hp regen.
Hi, thanks for this guide but can you update the first post with all the informations you gave later for the lazy people like me who don’t want to check all post to see some information
If his taken the time and effort to make this build test it and post it for every one. Don’t you think your taking the ??? being lazy and not reading it all to find the info you need.
Maybe you like him to level it for you as well lol
Did some changes to the proposed setup here - running now full Clairvoyants set + Justicator`s ring set - this resulted in 8 free skill points (as Clairvo
yants gives +2 to All skills) - maxed OFF for the nice -100% Fire resists.
Apart from this my HP regen doubled to up to 2300 per sec with all procs on.
My OA got buffed with around 400 with procs up (managed to get Fighting spirit to 15/12).
DA is above 2000 (Fabius has 1-2% chance to crit me).
To be honest Iskandra`s set is so damn hard to get, and it is very weak and not worth it at all - here is hoping they buff it considerably.
Your setup is totally fine, and Iskandra`s set is indeed damn hard to get, I personally only get 2 (including the blacksmithing one) + others from my friends. I used Iskandra’s because of the physical damage reduction. However, as I mentioned in the guide, gears are mostly flexible as long as core idea remains.
Sorry for misunderstanding, i just wanted to show you the 1.0.0.2 version of iskandra which is beast in my opinion, but actually you can play the way you want.
I supposed to tell im kinda new in this so already asked in other topic about leveling route but maybe you got own idea’s what to expand thru leveling ?
I find CT mana leeching, maybe going with soldier first as thread says.
“just go for standard PRM build with a shield, get Overguard and shield training for safty”
#How PRM build looks like ? #Get Overguard and shield training - what’s next ?
Yea, basically im looking for ‘expanding skill in leveling’ thing
I love the guide and it was so tempting a build I started a Battlemage myself today. Thank you for your time and willingness to share your experience with us.
Having an Agrivix’s Malice will make leveling much easier, especially for single target damage.
I am trying to get Ag Malice but I can find little info on the item. I know it is a recipe and possible recipe only item. I cant seem to find where the recipe will drop. Would you be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for your time.
Agrivix’s Malice helping in leveling is stretching too much. Even if twinked, lvl 70 requirement is the end of Elite difficulty. Otherwise it can take for a while before you get the recipe and all crafting components.
hi there, im playin a very similar build, but not with prm, i use CT
its my first char and atm lvl 82, most of res at max, 13k hp and not that bad def, in the Devotiontree ive taken mostly defskills with giants blood, turtle Shell, arcane bomb, cleansing Waters and tree of life (but maybe respecc a Little bit)
well dmg isnt that high between 3.5k and 4.5k with CT (but while Devastation more than doubled and still enough solo) but as i said the first char and plenty of room for gearimprovment, could facetank everything so far which wasnt too many Levels over my char
