why on earth would this sword have both flat elemental and % elemental dam then? elemental builds are rarely seen these days, but no one can stop people trying. And i have seen so many weird- meme builds with the concept way more awkward than using Beronath in a Elemental build
Old vanilla players who played since beta please correct me, but Beronath was originally a weapon designed for elemental builds, not physical. I’m 50% sure that the granted skill back then was the reverse of what we have now, 100% global phys to elemental or something approaching that value. It was reworked on version 188.8.131.52 (last patch before AoM release) to reflect the current weapon. The current elemental bonuses are likely carryovers from before the rework. Back then, Crate was less likely to do total makeovers like what happened to clairvoyant and iskandra.
Real meme builds build around the meme. Replace beronath with any other elemental weapon in that build you’re talking about and it’s still the same build, just with not beronath.

they added a “point blank”/shot gun penalty to the Blades of Wrath proc(it was abused), i think that’s it, at least i’m not seeing other notes
I think s/he related to execution nerf but as far as I know there is also a WPS animation rework that leads to %34 faster animations so that nerf shouldn’t affect the builds that much.

Hate ripping to Fabius’s shotgun blades of wrath on shadow strike its especially deadly in SR.
fabius can’t shotgun you the same way
what happened was people would put Blades of Wrath on ex Blade Spirit, or inquis Seal, which can “enter” a boss hitbox, so it explodes from within, where all projectiles then hit the target, dealing unintended increased/massive dmg
Fabius blades is like when BoW was attached to player, you only get a “couple” of projectiles to hit the target since it does a 360degree spread, so only the handful of projectiles coming out from your front/fabius front actually hits you
Reason fabius might feel a bit nastier now is his blade spirits are immortal, so you lost a leech source, at the same time Fabius got increased OA, and also bonus OA on SR70 and above, which all have had the effect that he’s less kitten and more bite these days

this confuses me a bit as now the ammy has 160/2s bleeding damage, so …
also, it would be better to see some direct damage buffs to the set - like extra wd/ranks to cadence, or at least ele->pierce instead of fire->pierce conversion.
Did they fix the missing Grenado modifier on the wraith MI ?
it misses in the changelog, so probably not.
same as M. Stormreaver base is still not fixed, ofc, why the hell one need to improve it …
It has been mentioned a lot and devs can not miss it so it might be intended. I seriously don’t know why but they buffed the cadence and savagery modifier on the weapon so base damage is literally intended to be less than 75 lvl version.
well, for me (and probably for the vast majority of players) there’s some unexplainable big brain logic behind it that no one understands and Z doesn’t comment it at all.
like, they don’t increase the base damage because lightning savagery will be OP?
