Various gameplay questions

Hello! Some things I would like to know:

  1. Do you need to be in Ultimate for the Outcast’s Secret to drop, or is nemesis reputation the only factor?

  2. How does multiplayer scale in terms of enemy difficulty and loot? It seems to me that the game is easier when playing with others. Also it seems to me that the drop rates a a bit better.

  3. Do legendary set items have a lower change to drop then non-set legendaries?

  4. How can you trade ancient hearths and the like with other players? I have seen a trading thread in a Steam discussion which offered legendaries for crafting resources, but when I tried to trade an ancient hearth to my friend it could not be done.

  1. Just have to be nemesis, but drop rate is better in ultimate ofc
  2. Not sure how the enemies scale specifically, but it can definitely feel easiest if you buff stack, have sick multi man aoe, etc I’ve only played maybe 100 hours of MP but loot seems exactly the same to me and I don’t see they would make it any different.

outcast’s secret is ultimate-only, zantai confirmed this for me, he just forgot to list it in the patch notes when the item was added

Ow well, guess I have to be mean to her also on Ultimate. Thanks for the correction - now I now that I don’t have to farm her on elite.

Also two more questions:

  1. Do pets also get reduced resistances just like the player on elite/ultimate?

  2. How exactly does +crit damage affect the damage of critical hits? I could not find anything about it in the game guide.

  1. I have 1300 hours of GD played and I honestly do not know. I feel stupid now. I am going to semi confidently guess no though
  2. Crit damage is additive with the multiplier. You roll a 1.5x crit and you have 30% crit damage, it becomes a 1.8x
