Has anyone else experienced once the game has loaded when starting a new game it gets VERY laggy and sometimes freezes altogether? and even sometimes during the game it just freezes and I’ve got a top notch gaming PC

Yes. Happens to me everytime i load a game. Usually in the 20 seconds after it starts.
It’s a known issue that the devs are working to resolve.
