When desirability of a house drops the occupants leave. OK but I find it odd that they stay in the village. i.e. they hang around creating a housing shortage rather than just leave completely and lower the pop count. Would it not make more sense for them to depart to greener fields elsewhere?
Some do, and you get a notification, but I suspect that if you have an abundance of housing they do move elsewhere. I pull down abandoned houses and plonk a park or statue in it’s place.
