There is clearly a lot of space inside the stockyard.
The storehouse is half full.
The vault is close to empty.
My 2 root cellars are close to empty.
My market is half full.
My granary is totally empty.
Really don’t see where this one is coming from.
Remark: on this picture you can see the little icon saying that there is a trader in the trading post although they left.
Thats happenning to me a lot.
In my case, i have at least half of my entire storage capacity full, but a few ones near the farms are really overloaded, as others nearby are totally empty and thats when i get the same warning message. I think the AI is searching for space in the nearest storage possible, not moving to another when the first runs out of space.
If I had to guess, the water you unchecked, there is no valid storage for it.
Oooh, indeed, I unchecked the water or it fills my whole store. In this case it’s an other … oversight (rather than bug). Why do they need to store water when they can take it from the wells nearby ?
… and by the way, was not expecting a reply during the week-end … I know that it’s sometimes difficult to do with your “baby” but you should take a break 
Would be very nice if the message takes you to the building or villager the complaint is comming from, as well as the item type they’re trying to store. Right now it is too much of a guessing game.
I totally agree that water doesn’t need to be stored in other places then the wells.
Got the same issue, really annoying. Also the water is unticked.
In the end I re-ticked the water and everything is fine now.
I guess that after a fire, all the buckets that lie down are put in storage (instead of putting it back in the well … or the fields).
So it happened to me that I had 2 fires in close proximity and my storage got overwhelmed by water buckets … prompting me to untick.
Yeah, I’ve come to the same conclusion. I left one storage with ticketed water.
