I apologize if this is the wrong spot to post this but I’m curious about a build. I’ve played about 5 different characters to lvl 50 ish learning a lot each new one I make. I’ve like a lot of builds so far but I still don’t fully understand conversions and what’s possible. So my question is, is it possible to make a 1h/shield Oppressor using Aegis of Menhir as a key skill and focusing on Vitality damage? It doesn’t have to be amazing by any means but If it’s complete trash and unplayable then I’ll just scratch that idea. I just like being tanky with lots of lifesteal and I really enjoy the shield throw. Thanks a lot.
It is not really supported but main campaign can be completed with anything if it is assembled well within possibilities. Use this medal for lifeleech and this shield. This chest and amulet have fire conversion to vitality. You will also need some other skill except Aegis to do damage. Preferably some spamming skill.
You could do melee attacks with weapon + shield (that would be best I guess) or use skill on Seal of Blight - you would also need acid conversion to vitality for that.
Ya I was planning on using Righteous Ferver for my main attack and maybe siphon souls or something to compliment it. But overall you think it’s gonna be pretty crap for endgame?
If by endgame you mean SR and CR then yes. MC should be doable and farming totems and dungeons as well. Morgoneth could be difficult - he is the toughest boss in MC.
Thanks a lot, that’s kind of what I figured. If you don’t mind me picking your brain a little more… is going away from vitality builds always gonna have a big drop in life leech? And also could you recommend a good endgame tanky Aegis build?
Yes they have the highest leech but also enemies have very high resistance to vitality damage. Don’t be afraid to use other damage types because of this. The more damage you do the more you lifesteal by raw numbers - don’t forget that.
