Wagon Shop waiting for task v 0.8.1a

It seems like the vagon shops have not good AI as Milada was waiting for the task and at that time near the vagon shop there was 26 coal ore stored under Coal mine.

I just would like to mention that I was waiting 20 years to get 30 more villagers in my town… (666 pop year 81, 702 pop year 101) I had like 10 year good mood of villagers, immigration rate was good I had 6 months food. Luxury was 75-85 %, mood had 1 or 2 arrows. And literary I could not evolve the village as I was short of workers(struggling with taking down the crop workers during the winter so I could have barely 23 workers available-but during the winter it is still worthless as they are hiding because of cold weather). I had played 5 hours to get nowhere in the game… It is really to suffer(sorry to say that). Raiders - They destroy the stone towers, brake 2 gates in line while the soldier came to place from barracks near town center. They destroy 2/3 of buildings on the picture below. It took 4 years to get them rebuild again(having 25 workers out of 71 recommended) It is simply impossible to build more towers as because of ‘short’ time between the attacks. It is not feasible. Just to get back the old destroyed towers took veeeery long time. And you wait and wait and no new people came. Even if some newcomers came, meanwhile 6 people die of old age, further 4 were killed by wild animal, next 3 were murdered by raiders and so you are even at the end…
I cannot get to the point I have enough towers so my village is save and I do not have to re-bill the tower guards again and again. Playing without mods or cheats…
Few minutes ago I ended up with 3 raider troops, having no gold ingots as I did not notice i am getting short of coal so no gold ingots are produced (meanwhile spent the gold thinking I am spending a lot…) So my towers were not working due to luck of the gold. Moving the gold from market did not help as it take time to soldier to get on the post… luckily no battering ram came otherwise the impact would be very painful . So tomorrow I will continue in game again fixing it and waiting 3 game years to have the buildings back.

But I believe it will be the best game at the end of development!! And I am looking forward for it

EDIT: that barracks in the corner behind the walls is still empty as I am short of workers so 6 people is a lot to assign as soldiers, as well the monthly cost of gold is a problem as it requires a lot of gold to have the army the required way.

There is a threshold for wagons to go pick up, I forget what it is. It’s to prevent wagons making long trips to mines just to grab a few items.

There’s only one way you can get new population in faster and that is the number of months of stocked food. I see you have 4 (2) months and it’s very low. In order to have influx of new villagers (high birth rate and migrants around the clock) you must be stocking at least 8 (1-3) months of food in your village. Otherwise your population will either stabilize or decline slowly and painfully because of the higher death-to-birth/immigration ratio.

Thank you. I did not know that. Once, I saw 14 quantities carried by vagon so did not expect some treshold limit.

Thank you for the advice. The sceenshot is current. I got field diseases, cold waves then loss of crop due to hot sun and so on and so on… the disasters have cumulated so I entered to starving era
Despite the fact for 700 pop I do have 9 12x12 fields… with crop rotation among 3 fields at one place = having 3 field out of 9 the producing the same type of crop each year.
3 upgraded barns, cheese makers, 3 arborists, bakery… cannery ect.
Cattle all of the sudden was not in helthy condition due to missing food for them(but barn storage was full of food…. ) I had to change pasture…

And I noticed that each year there is shortage of fishes in river/lakes for certain time period through out the year. If I remember it correctly shortage is in spring.
