Old guy rambling.
Love D1- D2 and Grim Dawn. A few other ARPGs out there pre 2017
After playing D4 and now POE 2 I’m feeling a bit disgusted with the genre. Yes I’m probably considered old and out of touch but I feel these new games coming out are lost and solely about farming loot explosions.
How with all the technology in gaming advances we have now are new age ARPG online, and public game play feel worse than the 2 former mentioned?
Some how I feel like new games are tailored to streamers and not “normies” like me.
Someone just tell me I’m just old and I need to stop gaming and go watch my grass grow instead.
With the number of games being released nowadays, it’s normal that you’ll like some and dislike others.
I also don’t like much the always-online games but there are a crazy amount of games compared to when D2 was released. And part of it is a lot of games won’t be good or won’t be games that you want to play. But with so many games being released, it also means there are plenty of good ones you’ll want to play.
