I’m using catacomb_railing01a as a fence of sorts, but it doesn’t seem to prevent pathing on its own. Is it supposed to work like that, or is there something wrong with my map?
And regarding sound layers. Is there a way to prevent the music from looping after it has been played once?
If yes, to small objects may not create a huge enough path mesh…try making the ground beneath it impassable by using the corresponding tool.
Try only using event music and let ambient music blank. Usually that should make the music from event music play once when you enter the layer and not loop through as ambient music does.
Yes, I remembered to build new pathing first, and have eventually painted inaccessible underneath, but it surprised me a bit. It’s fairly chunky stuff this railing. I mean I have some benches nearby and they are thinner, but they prevent pathing alright. Maybe they’re designed to go on edges only.

Ah! That’s what went wrong. I had tried before to use this event music field, but it did nothing. I needed an appropriate dbr with an event music session template for it to work. Sheesh!
