We really could use a very pronounced alert to when the barbarians attack. A war horn sound would work.

Would be nice to choose some sounds in the game. The trader arrival I struggle to hear among all the other sounds, while the sound of clicking on a building in process of building annoys me to no end. 
I have to lower the volume because of the build sound and then I miss the ring among all the other noises…
I hear ya. I have the UI volume almost completely off because I hate the bell sound when you click on the town hall. It’s like it is trying to wake me up by scaring me to death.

Either a horn or the bells in the town center could ring. Or perhaps allow us to build a bell tower for this exact purpose, which rings the bell every time a raid is spotted.
War horn would be cool but would it be load enough to be heard through out the land? 
Being allowed to change the default sound would be cool though.
