Warder Bleed Build Help!

Hey there everyone,

I’ve been trying to make a bleeding 2h warder build, but could really use more ideas on how to spec out the build. So I’m asking the rest of the community if they could link their build guides or post useful information on key aspects of the build.

I have searched around and couldn’t find a whole heap of information, I did run into this interesting list of devotion choices posted by Sjihaat here on the forums.

80% Bleed - Berserker
69% Bleed - Fox
15% All - Lion
24% Bleed - Falcon
15% All - Crane
110% Bleed - Huntress
160% Bleed - Mogdrogden
160% Bleed - Unknown Soldier

633% Bleed

Don’t do that - Crate overnerfed bleeders RR and you will be disappointed in the end. Or if you still want a bleeder, make a conjurer

It’s pretty hard to gut a DoT build

@OP try this

Yep, that one is a good example of what will not work. It needs manticore or BSoD. Black star of deceit is better imo because you can keep whatever devotion you are using, but it would take the place of that pretty direwolf crest and take away the ability to dual wield weapons.

And how’s that bad?

You do realize you don’t need to copy the entire build right? The entire point of any build on the forum is to present a concept

Gearing, devotion. I say go crazy

I think you underestimate DoT builds. But i do agree Bleeding support is a little lacking when compared to Poison

People seem to not realise what happened yet in 1.008. If you just go test your DPS on dummy or any common mob you will likely find it lower than in 1.007, but not by much. My trickster went from 210K to 160K, or 180 if I change gear to full Bloodrager. But if you combine devouring swarm and rend on any random undead you now get ~6K ticks, or up to 15K if you add all your bleed procs. 15K highest dps after many, many hits. It makes warders and tricksters borderline useless in any undead area unless they also use one of the abovementioned gimmicks, BSoD or manti. Even with these you will likely never go to SoT even for quests as it is complete masochism.

I’m not sure about witchblades as they have CoF that for some reason is 10% better than devouring swarm.

Not many people are okay with fully ignoring undead - bleed was never used as main damage in builds at times when immunes had 500% resist. And then there are also staleborn.

Back when we started it all in B30 we had around 160% resist reduction, even below 200% with relative percentages. Right now its what, 40% + 28%? + possibly 15% or 25% as I suggest.

Thanks to everyone who replied with their thoughts, was much appreciated.
