I remember it used to be x% reduced resist like viper or black legion weapon augment.
is this a flat non% reduction now like elemental storm/blackstar of deceit now?
If it was changed, the change wasn’t particularly recent. It’s been a flat reduced n resists since I started playing at B31.
The latest patch changed it. There are several changes like these that often go unmentioned. It’s back to it’s pre-B31 setting (it was changed to % in B31).
It’s been this way for months. Unchanged in recent updates.
I had it reversed. It was originally %reduction (like Viper, not like CoF) then they changed it to flat reduction in B31. I distinctly remember seeing the “%” again in 1.0.0.4 and I even commented on it being unnerfed, but based on the mod comment above maybe that was just a tooltip error.
I keep a very close eye on resist reduction because it’s very relevant to the type of builds I play.
tool tip does not say %. it just says n reduced. similar to blackstar of deceit / mark of dreeg. which to my understanding since it does not say MINUS %, it means its not a debuff so does not stack with dreeg/star etc. while things like CoF can stack with similar debuffs
That’s right, the easiest way for me to remember the resist reduction thicket is the word “reduced”. Everything stacks that does not include the word reduced, and only the highest of each of (1) n reduced and (2) n% reduced apply (i.e., “reduces” do not stack).
