I have 45 villagers yet I’m being told I’m short 241 shoes?

The OP is right. I have had this happen saying short shoes and clothes around 400 with 70 villagers. Whatever the problem is it stacks over time devs.

I agree! A simple fix would be to let shoes wear slower

I think that T2 Cobbler Shop is just missing here. I have 10+ cobblers building all over that map, purchasing all shoes from merchants but it still not enough.
