I love it how the Demo is taking the lead, when on the previous thread that Medierra made last year, the Demo was the least voted mastery early on.
Arcanist, simply because it’s the most diverse class.
PRM? Neat skill.
AAR? Neat skill.
CT? Neat skill.
OFF? Neat skill.
Devastation? OP nuke.
MoE? No comments.
Nullification? OP one pointer.
Passives/auras/exclusives? Check.
TSS? Idk lol, probably sucks.
Maiven sphere? D’oh.
So, demo fans, how many fire strike characters do you have?
Demo, loving my thermite mine/bwc build, with new demo build ideas still waiting to start…
Nightblade a very close second, could go either way really.
Soldier, least picked. Makes sense as it only offers a tiny bit of tankiness that almost every other class has anyway. I hope they change cadence. I think that would alone make soldier much better.
Arcanist, it just works great with everything.
Arcanist, because wizards are cool.
I voted Soldier, but for some reason I have chosen Arcanist for each of my characters
Still loving arcanist.
Occultist.
Still loving nightblade and demolitionist. Saboteur anyone? Recently got into primal strike shamen builds loving watching mobs go pop!
I like soldier a lot. Soldier feels like the perfect template to insert any other mastery into. Several features of the mastery make is desirable. These features include:
- passives that allow physique manipulation for builds that don’t stack physique
- total damage % that can fit any build
- total % damage reduction for more defense using dual wield or two-handed
- multiple resistance passives.
- Defense and offense rating manipulation
The attacks feel a little bland, but there enough skills or devotions to attach to make up for that.
I voted Shaman.
I think I’ve played all shaman based combination up to Elite at least and more than once for some of them (2 conjurers and 3 warder :o)
I’ve used all the skills in various build except:
- primal spirit: haven’t played a pet build yet
- primal strike: because I haven’t played my 2H ranged druid since modification of PS.
Still Demo. Boom, boom, boom, now let me hear you say wayo.
I went with Arcanist, because it allows me to make so many different builds… also I love to disintegrate stuff with AAR (even if it needs some buffing).
Started with a Nightblade way way back and it’s still my fav. If I had to pick one mastery and stick with it that would be it.
Arcanist for sure! Love its versatility.
At this point it looks like Demo or Shaman for the next class portrait loading screen…
I play this game for almost an hour 1K, I like it, it’s amazing, you have created the finest RPG element at all in a game and in a small number of people !! Incredibly!!! But one thing I do not understand, and this is the last patch 1.0.0.2 - why facilitates farming, drops and other things less costly to craft and others, the game is amazing in that it is difficult, do not destroy CASUAL !!! You want it to turn out of that game will play only children who get tired or way or another? The game is built on HC playing, work hard, ranching, unrelenting boss and nemesis !!! Why is heading into the game Casual ??? Just so that more people have played and purses grew ?? We want to play hard, leave it as it was and still add the difficulty! Recently came out patch D2, do the hard games, even harder and in a new outfit, you do not need to subside, you need a game, such as you had at the beginning, heavy and heavier, and nobody does lighter, that’s what’s GrimDawn concept - tough game from start to finish!
Because not everyone has thousands of hours to invest in a game, casual or not.
Thanks for the answer, thus actually like this, let’s give everything to everybody and Drop everything everywhere without toil. New games new rules.
Agree, good post
