Honestly, I haven’t had much time lately to sit down and really enjoy music. Most of the time I’m working, so I just put on some relaxing background music from YouTube and let it play while I focus.
w00t! Interpols back babes!:
Interpol - See Out Loud
Fuck me, last time they released something I wasn’t balding lawl.
_edit
Also, Modest Mouse of all bands is back O_O
Modest Mouse - Life’s a Dream
Apparently the made an album back in '15 but I didn’t even know, which is a pain, because I regularly go back to listen to Float On. It’s not a linchpin, but with all the shit I’ve endured it’s been a warming light to see.
Thanks again to Dispatch for bringing Radio by Bershy to my attention:
Because it’s fucking good, also lots of lesbian stuff in the vid
Like the pizza lawl.
Really? 23 days since the last post? This. Will. Not. Do!
Anyhow, back on Kimbra binge, because “brain lawl”:
Really shouldn’t have slept on Vows back in the day, but I blame Someone I Used To Know getting spammed everywhere for making me even less likely to listen to it. Least now being non-binary I can listen to anything I like :3
MapleStory has great video game OST

Another “It came from the 00’s” album:
As Cuts Across The Land and Neptune by The Duke Spirit are awesome slabs of fast tempo indie/garage rock, usually. Bit of the shame the band hared off up their own butthole, but that’s musicians for you sometimes. Anyhow, every so oft I chuck these two on repeat, volume up loud.
The Linda Linda’s are not fucking impressed:
Blood on Our Hands:
Punk metal for the win :3 Short, Angry, pissed off Punk Metal. Our rather 'serker self loves this
Replying to the oldest AC/DC post in this thread from 15 years ago… not that I consider them the second greatest band anyway. (Decent song BTW - the one from The Chats)
Have some metal from when I went to school… and still great. Much better than AC/DC although less popular:
First thing that came to my mind with that kind of style was Judas Priest Painkiller, but that was 4 years after this! Metal Church is new to me, and I am assuming a little more obscure?
Metal Church just released their 14th studio album this year, but they disbanded and reunited twice over the decades. Personally I only like The Dark and to some degree the following album Blessing in Disguise and stopped following them when their 5th one was too mainstream for me.
I think their problem was that they tried to be commercially successful and kept changing their style all the time. On the other hand The Dark is not only highly valued by me…
