Think I really give a darn when you are doing a cookie cutter blade master build yawn yawn boring did it two years ago yes it was insane dps ohh derp derp look at me thats the only way I play and think others should play blah blah blah… from a streamer. So tell me what are the top ten builds that are considered the most powerful with legendary gear included, and the most broken/over powered, and under powered.
- Best option if you just started GD and have no gear, no components and no mandates : Pet build(conjurer, usually, but can also work as warlock).
Pros:
- requires 0 skill to play;
- not (that) gear dependent;
- fast clear speed;
- ideal for noobs.
Cons: - Log takes a while to put down;
- Nemesis farming on ultimate is slow and sometimes dangerous;
- Fabius can mop the floor with you 1 out of 3 times.
- Best “safe” dps character: Poison Witch Hunter.
Pros:
- nice gear support from the devs ;
- huge single target damage;
- huge AoE.
- DoTs do not force you to facetank everything in order to maintain high dps (e.g. enraged Shar’Zul).
- insane debuff potential.
- huge mobility and CC.
- can finish Ultimate Hardcore very fast.
Cons: - requires high degree of control from the player = not a “noob” build.
- can be really squishy if you try to play it like a blademaster;
- can have mana problems if you do not know what you are doing.
- Best “hardcore achievement” character: Reflect/Retaliation Warden.
Pros:
- lazy build makes it ideal for noobs;
- insane durability (especially with fail-safe mechanisms/ circuit-breakers);
- can clear all content except Valdaran;
- works even without BiS gear.
Cons: - enormously slow in Veteran;
- weak vs ranged mobs;
- can’t kill Valdaran.
- low mobility.
- fairly low clear speed.
- Best “dps” character: Blademaster - everyone and their mother played this.
Pros: - too many to list;
Cons: - you will probably die…alot until you get god gear.
