I have now many of blue items. Some more than one copy. I am stashing them all but I will have so many mules so I wonder what people do with all these.
Do they dynamite them using service of the person who does that or do you sell to vendors. or keep them. I could go through some mines many times to get dynamite. But is that a good idea.
If you want them for collection, keep one of each and keep upgrading when you are going to be finding duplicates. Other than that they are not worth dismantling with dynamite, and just a handful of mythical epic items are used in builds, so I just vendor them because I never have iron bits.
For the lvl 94 blues*, sure dynamite away but don’t go out of your way to get dynamite (btw dynamite is craftable by blacksmiths in homestead and fort ikon - but you may want to save your scavenged plates for boot crafting)
For lower level blues, just sell em if you don’t want em.
*higher level dynamiting of items is supposed to yield more expansion crafting materials, lower level items yield more ‘old school’ crafting materials which are generally less valuable and hence not really worth the dynamite
I think they are worth dismantling, but I don’t have exact statistics to prove this. Btw you can use a stash program which allows you to store endless stuff.
I usually dismantle them out of habit; dynamite is trivial to farm.

Kidding? Blow them up, you can never have enough crafting materials, plus they sometimes drop rare components like Vitriolic Gallstone or Riftstone. Later level ones (above 80 I think) can also drop AoM crafting materials. I too keep one of each, well, only Empowered and Mythical, not regular. Money/iron is never an issue, usually around level 60 I stop picking up yellow items, only Rare (green) and above, selling those and already I am close to 900.000 iron pieces.
You don’t need to visit the mines, sure you can get a few dynamite there, but in AoM you will be swimming in Aether crystals and shards so you can craft as many dynamite as you need.
Some high-level epic (blue) items can be very strong even in endgame. Some of them are even better than legendaries! Some epic sets are better than corresponding legendary set, and can enable very powerful builds too.
But most epics are trash and should be vendored.
Dynamite isnt limited by Aether crystals, it’s limited by Searing Ember supply. If you farm Crucible a lot, you’ll get tons of legendaries to blow up, and your Searing Ember might expire even for legendary blow-ups only.
So i’d adviced to blow up only legendaries.
i vendor blues unless it’s a set item. those i store on set mules. you get a feel for which blues are actually rare and useful, and which drop by the hundreds of millions lol :rolleyes:
