Although I’ve had many chances to pick it over others such as panther, turtle, stag, solemn…I just can’t bring myself to take it and test the proc.
So I wonder if I’m just not seeing this clearly.
As for the nodes, it has one that I’d say is notable:
-elemental 10% = not that hard to find
-*health/energy = good node (leech resist is very case-specific_)
-poison and acid resist = easy to find
-chaos resist = ok, but lots of other sources, including devotions
-the proc (cleansing waters):
huge CD (20s)
offensively the slow is terrible for anything over tier 3. AT 75+% this slow will last 2s or less (from the original 8). Might be ok if you can use that 50% slow to facetank/kite with massive damage, I suppose. But how practicall is that every 20s (CD)?
It has a small radius (about the size of a couple-pointer BWC) - so best not miss.
The removing of beneficial auras is very very case specific, and I can’t think of too many beyond some mobs using reflect spell or mirror. And even so, these haven’t posed too much of an issue. There might be a few bosses with cast-on-spawn buffs.
defensively…I’ve very rarely had a need to get rid of bad buffs on my character. And in the current game, I’d suggest it to be a waste to hold this for that very case.
You’re grossly underestimating the number of buffs, debuffs and auras your enemies possess. However, the cooldown, the range and the on-attack nature makes it inferior to Nullification in every possible way.
Hmm…such enthusiasm. Alright, I’ll swap it into a build instead of stag and play around with Cleansing Waters and see if it really holds up in practicality.
(I’ll attach it to doom bolt, which should give some flexibility for location).

I will possibly do some feedback after having maxed it out and with a bit of experimental play across various bosses/nemesis.
imho. But as I mentioned, most of them are pretty easy to find in devotions and with components/augments/items.
I particularly value piercing, bleediing, aether, slow and stun…as these are harder to find in my experience. (not counting consumables)
However, on a side note…I’m going to assume that Cleansing Waters does the debuf stuff 100% right from 0xp. I can’t see how it could do otherwise? So that’s a bonus for a temp switch, if one was to consider that.
