Question is in title.
Fighting Log in Ultimate
Theory crafting and trying out unexpected builds.
Character creation! Compared with D3 where this part was null and with POE where on every character you would basically aim for some specific nodes, it seems very versatile. I’m still a noob, reallocating skills and devotions along the way easily is a great thing.
Also the offline mode is the main reason I play, since I live 3/4 of the year without a stable internet connection.

Amazing game play
-
character creation, this is the only aRPG i actually like re-rolling my chars.
-
the atmosphere is wonderful
-
the community is filled with great people, unlike other forums that i will not mention.

Also: its a platform I enjoy using and will be able to express my creativity onto through the use of the future-modding-tools.
mod me chain lightning before I lose my mind.
Dedicated Fire/Cold/Lightning caster masteries already in progress. Chain Lightning already done.
Love veteran and elite. And if you play this and then play another arpg, you notice this game’s combat is “crunchier” you can feel it more and it feels more powerful. PoE feels like crap in comparison.
I’m gonna lose my mind waiting for this.
Call me a fanboy but GD is my wet dream.
The only ARPG that i actually re-roll. Other than GD, i only reroll 3-4 char in TQIT. Diablo 1 i only played warrior. D2 i only play paladin. Dungeon Siege 2 i only play once despite it’s one of my favorite arpg.

Trying out different build and making it so strong that pummel thru content easily, making farming so enjoyable. GDstash actually playing main part in this because i have all the storage to store my loot for other build i have in mind.

The loot. Try list down how many arpg actually have loot with many affix. I only know D2, TQIT and DS2.
Many other to list down. For me, GD done a lot of things right for TQ/D2 fans. It’s the best thing to happen in my gaming life.
Gameplay.
Lore/story bits.
Trying out different builds.
Finding new loot.
Works offline.
Mods (stash manipulation).
Secret areas you can find as well as all the funny challenge areas and such.
Visuals.
Music.
What I love about it. Is that it’s better than D3 in every way. *SHOT’S FIRED"
I like that you can mix two classed with each other and use both classe’s skills.
- Gameplay + Physics (I really enjoy sending monsters airborne)
- Trying out new builds
- Setting/ Atmosphere
- The never ending loot-spiral
To sum it up:
The fact that GD turned out to be a modernised TQ:IT with mod-support.
For me the answer is simple! It’s the game that Diablo 3 failed to be!
The RNG in the loot.
I’ve around 100 legendaries so far with my main, and only 2 are useful for my build, but when they dropped I was soooo happy !
That’s the kind of feeling I love in games like that.
1)The grim setting.
2)The combat and how impactful it feels.
3)Making my own original and unique builds without using guides, wikis or investing only to Op skills and gear. If you are a good player you can do just fine on elite with non optimal builds.
4)The fantastic dual class system.
5)The locations and how different they are.
My one and only complaint
I’d like to see a balancing pass on attributes. Dumping everything on Physique and having almost no repercussion what’s so ever screams about broken mechanisms. I personally am one of those guys who split their points almost evenly depends on the build but again that’s why i don’t play ultimate yet.
