Playing a dual wield build (Jajaja’s Tri-element Saboteur to be exact) but with any build I play I’m always unsure on attribute distribution. I know you need physique for survival and cunning for damage but just how do you decide how to split it?
I’ve seen some people go full into physique, just I’ve seen full cunning. Now I know full cunning would likely require a lot of gear for survival purposes, but wouldn’t full physique be low on damage (as a melee)? Or am I over valuing cunning? Is a 1:1 split normal/viable?
“Every point of Cunning increases your physical damage by 0.41%, pierce damage by 0.4%, bleed and internal trauma damage by 0.46% and Offensive Ability by 0.4, which affects your ability to hit and critically hit your enemies.”
by and large the increased damage you gain does not matter much towards the end, as you get so much +% from gear and skills. If you already have +1000%, another +100% will not make much of a difference
If you have to ask what to do with attributes, you should put 75 points into physique, then save the last 15 points for solving any potential problems with requirements when you have farmed all of your endgame gear. If you can equip everything, dump leftover points into physique.
It would be great though, if points put into Cunning would impact damage more. It would add another element of strategy in making a build, that is, how to balance survivability and damage output.
No disagreement there, I would prefer the damage boost from stats to be multiplicative rather than additive. In that case +100% would make a difference
Obviously the scaling then would have to be brought down a bit, so you gain less % per stat point, but overall it still would be better as it makes other stats more relevant, rather than everyone dumping everything into Physique.
