I have two Healer Houses in close proximity, 151 bottles of medicine, one nearby small warehouse with nothing inside except the medicine (only there isn’t any) and every other storage building and market with medicine unchecked, yet only one market has 19 bottles despite being unchecked, so where are the the other 132 bottles? They’re not at the Trade Centre.
Root Cellar, or at least the upgraded ones
Will check next game start.
One root cellar had 50+, a market had 80 despite being unchecked, and despite my having looked through all the markets previously.
I’ve been in the same situation many times. Resource panel shows X number, but when you look at the storage where it’s supposed to be it’s not there. There needs to be a way to select a resource and have it highlight everywhere it is. This includes production facilities, storage, markets, even laborers or wagons carrying it.
Not only are the logistics horrible, you can’t get the information you need to try to make it work better.
As far as I can tell once an item is stored in a market there’s currently no way for it to be taken to another storage building, even if you disable storage in the market.
This keeps screwing up my blacksmithing logistics chains as I always forget to disable coal storage on my markets until it’s too late.
I did see a Hunter grab some arrows from a warehouse, and they weren’t replaced. Merchants do the same for the Trading House. Solution may be to place the whole inventory into the Trading House as if you’re going to sell them, then put them back into stock, where they should go only to your assigned storage buildings.
That’s what I’ve been doing up to now, but it does seem a bit of a clunky mechanism to deal with something that labourers will handle by default on every other type of storage building.
It’s true once an item is in a market it won’r be taken to another storage, but I’ve seen factory workers take what they need from markets.
