Which retal Aegis build looks better.

I’m returning for the expansion and just sorta kinda remember what kinda stats to prioritize etc, so I’d appreciate it if someone could give me a hand. I’ve got three builds, made in progression as I started remembering more. The gear is just slapped in there to get some stats to work with.

Anyways,
1: Warlord with Menhir’s Bulwark
2: Warlord with Guardians
3: Sentinel for max negative resistance

Which one looks more viable, and what would you change to make it even better ?

  1. Drop Judgment. It’s point-heavy, has a long cd and doesn’t do that much for you.
  2. when using occultist, you really want aspect of the guardian. you get acid retaliation, phys res and acid res.
  3. no more than 10 points in vulnerability and even less in CoF
  4. You do know that legendary items exist don’t you? There are even some good ones, although in your case the perdition set seems to be BiS.

I’m probably not gonna farm out a full legendary set so I put in some mid-tier gear just to see how viable the build is. Anyways, does aspect of the guardian actually give retaliation ? All I’m seeing is the % damage (which is fairly useless for the build) and resistances.

Also, got any suggestions for what to replace Judgement with ? It’s basically what I’m dumping points into after I’ve picked everything else that looks useful.

OP. You really need to max OK mastery. I have an Amnesty build at home so i can’t link atm. No use playing without the RR and patch of the three for spam and dmg.

Also i REcommend Sentinel not Warlord, for this build

Also new green acid retal rings with any resistance affix is good. i’d change devotions up a bit too. I had murmur i think for some extra rr

You will have higher chance completing the full lvl 94 set than the lvl 65 because 1) you spend more time in Ultimate 2) ultimate have higher drop chances (at least that is my impression)

I started out with Warlord to make the build as tanky as possible. Going Sentinel looks great for damage, but the defensive loss is pretty massive. Do you think Sentinel builds like this will be fine when it comes to survivability ?

I think it’s resistances are there, but kinda low crit damage on everything but aegis, 3rd page resists don’t look great, but much more importantly I’m not sure if a ~1.1 second skill recharge is enough to get consistent damage, even with 3 other abilities I can spam. Thoughts?

The point here is to apply the retal damage via Aegis of Menhir

You took warlord for tank but no Overguard in your GT:p

Sentinel has high Phys res so that’s good. This si a mid range cheese build. You don’t have to tank everything. Leave the warlording to Octavius or sentinel set
