this reminded me of some game where you side with either… brahma, vishnu or shiva…
geez i hope crate allows something like that or maybe even give us chance to fight these gods, that would be satisfying…

Korvaak is much, much older than any of the witch gods, and certainly seems more sinister than Slaanesh. According to Korvaak’s Messenger, Korvaak “was [old] when the world was not. Korvaak is eternal, infinite…Primordial…”. In contrast to Korvaak being a Primordial (/ancient) god, the witch gods appear to be Ascendant gods, i.e. they were mortals who rose to godhood. Furthermore, Korvaak appears to be quite sinister in nature given that he is using Kymon’s Chosen as an army against the Cult of Ch’thon (his god-rival’s army) by tricking them into thinking they worship Empyrion. Korvaak has them thinking Kymon is Empyrion’s chosen representative on Cairn, when in fact Kymon has traded his soul to Korvaak in exchange for the power to dazzle his followers into believing and fighting for him. Slaanesh represents petty human decadence and sinful pride, Korvaak is an ancient power with his own motivations (which include raising a human army to combat his ancient rival regardless of the devastation it will cause Cairn).
OFF-TOPIC
Don’t want to make a separate thread for something so trivial. Can someone identify this skill- the red projectile falling from the sky?

And this
Black Star of Deceit?
Screenshot is the Loyalist bundle items. Powdered wig, etc.
Do not bestow your adulation upon these deceivers…they are a mockery of the gods!
You’d rather us worship the Devs?
P.s. Wheres the update!
Asking the right question.
Ah so that’s what it means when it says “dark omen falls upon”. Nice
I thought it was “dark meme falls upon”… gotta read more slowly.
just came random thought . which team would win?
solael, bysmiel and dreeg
vs
mephisto, diablo and baal… :rolleyes::rolleyes:
We’ve seen the latter team and not the former so I would assume the 3 witch gods would wreck face and then dreeg would melt down the soulstones with his acid.
Nah, Bysmiel would keep them around as her pets
I would like to see though who is being worshipped in Ugdenbog.
The Three’s cult is hunted to the point they use hidden pathways, cult of chthon is always on the brink of extinction but is never truly extinguished, Necromancers and The Chosen are left alone to kill each other with occasional hunting of Necromancers and yet the cult in Ugdenbog is something that the inquisitors couldn’t control.
I am not sure if it’s even a choice. To me there are some hints at the end of the hidden path quest which suggests that the witch God(s) may be (have become) something different than normally portrayed.
This may be from the beginning or if not, after the events that lead up to the grim dawn.
Umm?? /10chars
The guy bound to the rock at the end of the quest hints that things might have changed. And there is a lot of lore during the hidden path quest that talks about how they decided to unite thier forces.
To me the three which Gods, after grim dawn or events that lead up to it, are different aspects of the same entity.
I could be very wrong though:)
I agree with this part of your message
They all seem to suck, honestly. Doing the Hidden Path only further decreased my level of respect for them. Ch’thon most likely has a point. As an Occultist, I feel dirty, but it seems most of the gods are a menace.
Chthon has a point, true.
Korvaak is a dick.
Mogdrogen is arrogant
Solael and Bysmiel are a couple of assholes
Dreeg, well i don’t see what he has done wrong.
Created a whole lot of plagues sounds about right.
