Why did Crate remove reflect on crystals?

I think reflect is fine if they make phys res or reflect res more easily attainable.

I dunno which DoT builds you’ve played, but 15+ seconds DoT reflect is very noticable, which added a lot of downtime in the places like Valbury.

As if a lot of people didn’t liked this dungeon already.

Reflect on crystals added no challenge whatsoever. It was just annoying.

The thing that gave me major downtime in Valbury was Mark of Aetherfire in 90% situations.

Crystal reflect doesn’t affect me then again DoT DEE has ridiculously overcapped Acid Resist. The only time I feel reflection in the game is when I am dealing with Fabius or Reflect mobs

The procs kill most of the crystals. Just so we’re clear I am not saying I want crystals to reflect in fact I don’t care if the reflect is there or not cause I’ve never felt it

First time reflect bothered me in 1,5 years of playing was on my 7th character - pierce Infiltrator. I can kill myself in few seconds if I start attacking mirrored Aetherial Ascendant/Myrmidon/whatever mage.

I think having reflect on crystals is a nice touch, they are kinda alive, so they vibrate hard when you attack them, protecting themselves. I don’t think it should’ve been removed.

I mean, if you are dying to an aether crystal, you are just bad in this game.

It’s not about dying, it’s about the Conflagration being insanely annoying because you can’t touch a fucking crystal.

Elaborated answer: Hell no.

You are all noobs! All enemies should have reflect. Lots of reflect! Even the very first zombie out of Devil’s Crossing. This way you would learn that the righteous path to victory is not to kill your enemy, but let them kill themselves.

I had to scroll to the 3rd page to find the first sensible post.

The game is way too casual. 3000% reflect on everything sounds about right, but if Crate is scared to pull that off, at the very least they should make all enemies like those awesome rocks before Lokarr. Untargetable and unkillable on everything would also up the challenge and make this game the hardcore experience it should be.

I got bloody pox confused with DEE. The crystals are resistant to poison damage and would take an insurmountable time to kill

It’s just out of my 7 builds all have Tower and some have Tower + Aeon, so reflect never bothered me, untill my last char which just does too much damage, so it can kill itself versus mirrored aetherial.

I would say Conflagration is insanely annoying because it’s pure ground damage, walking up there is annoying and cheesy, walking thru it is annoying, because it’s hard to tell where ground damage ends and where it begins. And there is no avoiding this freaking damage, no matter how overcapped you are on any resists. Unless I guess you have that soldier shield passive.

But crystals reflect, man, come on, you gotta have at least 20% reflected damage reduction on any build. At least put a Titan Plating somewhere.
