Introduction
The goals of the project are two fold. The first and foremost is a learning experience. Both for myself and others alike. I will document my experiences creating the mod in hopes it helps others down the road. Secondly, create a 7th mastery that fits so well one would assume it was shipped with the game.

  • A written guide on creating a mastery from scratch.
  • Very early version of mod. Will be updated often for testing purposes.

I’m afraid you’re waiting in vain since the OP hasn’t been posted since 2017 and hasn’t logged into the new forum here. And Crate added a 7th and 8th mastery with the Ashes of Malmouth expansion so the OP probably decided it wasn’t worth continuing with the mod.

If you just want new masteries to play with in the main campaign then look at Grimarillion and Dawn of Masteries mods.
