Wooden Planks Statistics

Hi

I recently returned to FF after quite a few months away. It looks good. Currently on year 35 of my first playthrough.

Something that’s been bugging me. Using the top-left corner menus for wooden planks, it shows time-and-again that my production far exceeds losses/ usage. Yet the inventory of wooden planks (top right and also bottom right menu) shows that my stock of planks is declining.

I believe this is due to planks used in building upgrades not being included in the tally of used/ reduced stock of wooden planks (most apparently upgrading housing, not sure if it also arises from other upgrades)

Not sure whether this is more systemic, i.e. the accounting side of resources is out more generally. Or whether it’s solely confined to planks?

Thanks!

There’s a different column for “repairs” in the right side of that screen, and that number can be pretty big for planks on large cities. The “consumption” column does not take “repairs” into account.
Could this be the reason why you’re seeing your stock of planks declining?
