The addition of Death Sentence makes the damage of Word of Pain feel very inconsistent, it’s all or nothing for the whole duration (5sec) having it proc per tick rather than cast would make it feel way more consitent.
Also you can’t overwrite it with a new / proced one so you have to wait 5 sec for another chance to get the proc.
