The Zoom in detail still blows my mind and is one of my favorite parts. I would love to see it increased to the point you can zoom into the inside of buildings, even if all the buildings of each type of the same interior.

Agreed. I zoomed in while placing a couple of fishing shacks around a lake, and the detail on the shores of the lake was downright beautiful. The graphics in the game are amazing.
