Wayfinder Huldir
You are taking dangerous risks, lowlander.{^n}{^n}But those children owe you their lives.
I do what I can.
I'm not going to turn down help, lowlander.{^n}{^n}The Dread Wastes consume more of our valley with each passing moon.
Farewell.
Your life is not my responsibility, lowlander.{^n}{^n}If you wish to enter the Dread Wastes, do so at your own risk.
Alright
What is it, lowlander?
Are these what you are looking for?
So you've been in the wastes and returned?{^n}{^n}I am impressed that you survived, lowlander. I cannot spare much, but consider these supplies a token of my thanks.{^n}{^n}What of my wayfinders? Did any survive?
I'm afraid not.
*Huldir nods*{^n}{^n}With your help, their deaths were not in vain.
I hope these reports help.
Farewell.
Sorry. I do not know.
Fine. Goodbye.
What is it, lowlander?
You said I should keep an eye out for scout reports?
Yes. It is our duty to keep the Bloodbound at bay, and to study their movements. Many of my scouts do not return.{^n}{^n}If you are determined to enter the Dread Wastes, then keep an eye out for their remains and recover what you can.

Alright.
What threats await me in the Dread Wastes?
The land itself weeps with corruption and what remains of the wildlife is manged and horrifically warped.{^n}{^n}The Dread Wastes have become a reflection of the Great Annihilator's realm. It is the stronghold of our greatest enemy: the Bloodbound.{^n}{^n}Tread carefully, lowlander

Alright, thanks.
Nothing yet, but I'll keep searching.
You are to be allowed to pass, lowlander, but I would not mistake that for an invitation.{^n}{^n}Those that take the Dread Wastes lightly seldom return to speak of it.
Why is that?
It is a land tainted by the Great Annihilator's touch. Life has been choked out of the soil and what remains of the wildlife has been driven mad with corruption.{^n}{^n}That is saying little of the Bloodbound scum that made the wastes their stronghold. You are entering the heart of the enemy of the Kurn, of all mankind.{^n}{^n}We stand guard over this vile border so that no heretic encroaches upon Kurnhold.
Well I need to go in there.
If you are deadset on venturing out to certain death, then I won't stop you.{^n}{^n}But should you find what remains of my scouts out in the Dread Wastes, give them this final honor: retrieve their reports so that their sacrifice was not in vain.{^n}{^n}The intelligence they held could be critical in keeping the Bloodbound at bay, or even allow us to pierce their defenses.
If I find them, I will let you know.
I'm not risking myself for that.
Are these what you are looking for?
The very same. So you've been inside the Dread Wastes already and returned?{^n}{^n}I am impressed that you survived, lowlander. I cannot spare much, but consider these supplies a token of my thanks.
I hope these reports help.
Thank you.
I will heed your warning.
I'll be careful.
Your life is not my responsibility, lowlander.{^n}{^n}If you wish to enter the Dread Wastes, do so at your own risk.
Alright
