Adrian Lesaunt
Go to the Asterkarn Peaks and talk to the Peakmane Chieftain. We'll meet you there.
I'm on my way.
So, the deed is done, then? The Omens are dead?
It appears the beasts I felled were not the true Omen
Not the real omen...? Then that means...
We don't have time for this Adrian. I found these organs within the beasts, what do they mean?
Ah, yes. I know this heart and this brain. They've spoken to me. What's more, I can sense an immense power flowing from the organs somewhere further north. Sadly, that's all I can tell with a cursory glance, but I know somebody who might be able to provide more insight.
And who might they be?
Just over the ridge atop the mountain are a tribe of Asterkarni people. Their chieftain, Ylgraf, practices the spiritualism of the old ways. He is able to divine weal and woe using organs. Perhaps he can guide us further?
I'll seek out Ylgraf and see you two in the mountain peaks.
None of the Omens are dead yet, but I found these organs in one of the coffins, what do they mean?

It seems I must've forgot something...
Did you open the crypt? What did you find? Have you dealt with the omens?
The Twin Omens are no more.
Thank you, my shoulders already feel a lot lighter.
Am I not missing something?
What do you mean? Did you expect something else? Maybe go take another look in the crypt.
Will do.
I feel like we are not done here yet. I'll talk to Vanessa.
I have not dealt with the omens yet.
So... You're telling me you misplaced the one-of-a-kind key, imbued with ancient runes and luminari secrets? Well, lucky for you, I always keep a spare. Take better care of this one.
... you are a true mastersmith!
You haven't tracked down my hammer? Last I saw it, it was in my hut just across the river. Do be quick, I shudder to think of what may happen should my hammer fall into the wrong hands.
I'll keep looking.
Have you found my ancestral hammer? Should the bandits get a hold of it, there's no telling what could go wrong.
Yes, here you go!
Thank the gods! I am relieved to see my hammer unsullied by those miserable bandits.
Just in time!
Thank the gods! I am relieved to see my hammer unsullied by those miserable bandits. Once the town is completely safe, I will be able to repair your key.
Alright, I will support you as much as I can!
What's wrong? Bring the repaired weapons to Igor.
I actually lost them... can you craft some new ones?
How did you even manage... fine, if you bring me the materials I can craft new weapons, but they will require more materials. (Collect 20 scrap, 12 dark ice shards and 20000 iron bits)
I have the materials you require.
Yes, I see you have enough materials.
Let's do it.
I don't have enough at the moment.
I'll get to it.
Back so soon?
I have the materials you require.

Where can I find Dark Ice Shards again?

I don't have enough crafting materials yes. I'll be back soon.
So the Mayor wants our old weapons fixed up? I need you to help me gather the crafting materials.
I already have all the materials you need.
Perfect with these materials I'll be able to repair our weapons.
Let's do it.
What kind of materials do you need?
Any kind of scrap metal aswell as iron will do, but I'll need a couple of dark ice shards to imbue the weapons properly.
Where can I find Dark Ice Shards?
Dark Ice shards can be found deep within the ice caves along the ridge to the north. Once we have those shards in hand, I'll be able to craft weapons that will make those outlaws run for the hills!
I'll explore the mountain range.
You can count on me. I'll be back soon.
Back so soon?
I need somebody to repair this silver key, I heard you're the man for the job.
This key is... You seek to release the omens, don't you? Well, you've helped my people a great deal, so I'll tell you the truth. I've been aware that the seal around the omens was weakening for some time now. I've been having these nightmares of black ice cracking and horrible, leathery wings folding over the sun - and I felt relieved. Ever since my parents told me of my role, I've had this overwhelming sense of burden... like my life was not my own and my choices weren't mine to make. If these omens were to be freed then I, too, would be relieved of this burden. I know that sounds selfish.
Once I have slain these Omens, your life will be your own.
I hope you know what you are doing... The Omens are beasts of legends, they slew a team of the greatest inquisitors Erulan had ever known. If you fail, then all of Cairn is in peril.
I've slain legends before. Perhaps the Omens should fear me.{^n}Now I need you to repair this silver key for me.
This key was crafted centuries ago by my ancestor, Alicia Lesaunt. The runework is intricate, but I can fix it.
Thank you! You will be free of your burden, I promise.
Thank you! You will soon be free of your burden.
Seems like I lost the broken key, I'll be back.
Thank you for everything. Without your help, we surely wouldn't have lasted a fortnight more. Truth be told, I've been aware that the seal around the omens was weakening for some time now. Right, that's why you came here in the first place... let's see. This was truly a masterpiece of erulan smithing art. It won't be easy, but I can fix it for you.
Thank you! You will be free of your burden, I promise.
Seems like I lost the broken key, I'll be back.

You're welcome!
Back so soon? I will not repair your key until my people are safe. Speak to our mayor, Igor Alderman, to see what steps need to be taken to liberate our village.
I'm on my way.
Back so soon? I will not repair your key until my people are safe and I cannot repair the key without my ancestral hammer. Speak to our mayor, Igor Alderman, to see what steps need to be taken to liberate our village.
I found your ancestral hammer.
Thank the gods! I am relieved to see my hammer unsullied by those miserable bandits.
Glad I could help.
I'm on my way.
So, you already talked to Igor and he let you go unharmed. You must be a friendly face then.
How can I help you?
While you are reclaiming our town, I need you to find my ancestral hammer, an artifact held by my family for 400 years.
I will find your ancestral hammer.
I must prepare myself first.

Y-you, stay back or we'll shoot!
Relax, I'm not here to hurt you, I'm looking for Lesaunt.
You're not here to hurt us? And... How do you know my name?
I need somebody to repair this silver key, I heard you're the man for the job.
Oh, if it isn't the millstone around my neck, god's forbid I look beyond these mountains. Listen, I don't care about ghost stories or inquisitors or monsters. Right now, my only concern is the people of this village. You help me defend them, I'll repair your key.
Fair enough. How can I help?
Mayor Alderman is coordinating the efforts to push the bandits back. If you help him in every way you are capable, then I will consider repairing your key. While you are reclaiming our town, I need you to find my ancestral hammer, an artifact held by my family for 400 years. Without it, I cannot repair the runic seals within the silver key.
I will talk to Alderman and find your ancestral hammer.

Relax, I'm not here to hurt you. You seem to be in a rather dire situation?
A friendly face! Thank the gods. We've been able to fortify this position and keep losses at minimum, but it's only a matter of time before those cretins break our defenses.

As you can see, I've got my hands full as is. If you want to help, speak to our mayor, Igor Alderman.
Ok.
