Thrawn, the Curious
We should get out of there.
Let's go.
You fought well, comrade. What an unfortunate ending to our battle. *grits teeth* We weren't able to capture Laveris after all. We have to regroup and figure out what to do! Maybe there is still a way to find him. We can't just have it end like this. Who knows what future disasters he'll end up causing.
Let's head to Hunter's Blind then.
One more thing. He left one of his underlings behind. Over there! Feel free to capture and interrogate him. Frankly, I am rather irritated right now. We'll meet up in Hunter's Blind.
Okay.
Let's head to hunter's Blind then.
You fought well, comrade. We took down that madman. Splendid! Quick! Apply the potion so we can restrain him and take him back to Hunter's Blind.
Of course.
It is time! Time to take down Laveris and his goons! Let's get this over with!
I would like to give Laveris one last chance to redeem himself. Let me talk to him first.
What? I doubt anything you say will get through to him. *deep breath* Well... if you really wish to speak with him... be my guest. There is nothing to gain from denying you this opportunity. Be warned though and keep the potion at the ready. If they make any suspicious move, we will engage immediately.
That's fair.
It was a success! The rift we created seems stable. It didn't rip the world apart in front of us! Not only that... I can feel the Architect's presence on the other side! Marvelous! The fact that both of our portals led to the same plane is a statistical wonder. I wonder how that happened?
Maybe the gods decided to guide our way?
Ha! Do you really think the gods would actually care about a small and insignificant moment like this one? I highly doubt it.
I was just spitballing ideas.

When making another Lapis Portalis, they probably used the same blueprint again...
*lost in thought* HA! I've figured it out! I assume this is because they used the same blueprint again and ended up making a Lapis Portalis identical to ours!
I literally just said that...

There was a chance to rip apart what?!
Yep! In fact, the probability my invention would malfunction was quite high! No matter. We made it through.
WHAT?! You knew that and you just went for it?!
Anyway... it's time to enter the portal
Let's go.
Right here! What a beautiful masterpiece! And finally! It makes sense! An old friend of mine once showed me some of his work. One particular invention happened to catch my eye. Apparently, it was only a prototype but it already made quite the impression. It enabled his people to travel across large distances in the blink of an eye. Which... is quite the useful tool! So... I tried to recreate his work. Unfortunately, I never got it to function properly and I wasn't able to ask for advice.{^n}You see... I didn't exactly ask for permission before tinkering around. I always felt like one key piece was missing.
I see where you are going with this. The Lapis Portalis is the missing piece?
Well... I doubt my old friend was using something as dangerous as a lapis portalis for his work. However, I do think it slots in quite nicely. It's definitely worth a try. Maybe with this I can... *mumbles*
Good luck.
*hammers the Lapis Portalis into the contraption clumsily*
...
By the gods! It fits perfectly! Let's do this. I hope everyone is ready. I am going to activate it! It all boils down to this. Brace yourselves!
I'm ready.
Give me a moment.
