Koryn Earthurn
I've read about Erulan in the elder Skald's texts, but I never thought I would meet one in person.
I hope I live up to the stories.
*Koryn sighs nervously*{^n}{^n}I will play my part. It is my duty.
We all will.
You will be fine.
It is nearly time.{^n}{^n}I hope we are prepared.
We will be. We have to be.
I've read about Erulians in the elder Skald's texts, but I never thought I would meet one in person.
I hope I live up to the stories.
The aura of wild magic is unmistakable.{^n}{^n}You bring the essence?
I have it here.
Yes, these are exactly what we need. This spirit of the earth feels raw, unadulterated by mortal machinations.{^n}{^n}If there is any hope of realigning Beronath's essence with the valley it once sought to protect, then this will be it.{^n}{^n}I thank you, lowlander, on behalf of all Kurn.
That's everything.
You work fast. Skald Magwyn will want to waste no time.{^n}{^n}We must leave for the Aurora Peaks immediately.
I will speak to the Skald.
Now for the rest.
Just a minute.
I only know of Ugdenbog from texts, but I hear it is a treacherous place.{^n}{^n}Take care out there.
What do I need to do in Ugdenbog?
There are wild golems there that rise from the rich earth. One among them, known as Bargoll the Mouldering Mound, bears the purest of essence. It, and the living roots it has sprouted, should suffice as a source for our ritual.{^n}{^n}I regret that these creatures must be killed for our gain, but if we are to save Asterkarn from Beronath, then we must perform this dark deed.
I will head there now.
I will.
I only know of Ugdenbog from texts, but I hear it is a treacherous place.{^n}{^n}Take care out there.
How do I get to Ugdenbog?
The path to Ugdenbog lies to the north of Burrwitch, but it is sealed by Aetherial flames. The Aether is beyond my study, so I cannot say how one would breach such a barrier.{^n}{^n}Perhaps someone from your inquisition could aid you in penetrating it.
I know just the person.
I will see what I can do.
I will.
Warm welcome, lowlander. The elder Skald speaks highly of you.{^n}{^n}As you hail from Erulan, you can aid us in gathering a critical material for the ritual.
What do you require?
Deep within Ugdenbog, far to the East, wild magic flourishes amidst the decay. As Beronath was once attuned to the earth, so Ugdenbog's affinity will aid in drawing out these remnants of its pure nature.{^n}{^n}The path to the swamp lies to the north of Burrwitch. It is a place teeming with wild magic, untainted by the aether. The golem known as Bargoll, the Mouldering Mound, is a wondrous creature undeserving of destruction, but sacrifices must be made to spare Beronath of its corrupted fate, and thus all of Asterkarn with it. Bargoll's essence, and that of its root children, will be pivotal in revitalizing Beronath's memories of whence it came.{^n}{^n}Acquire this essence and bring it to me.
I will get you what you need.
Find someone else to do this.
I have already gathered these materials.

I need to deal with something else first.
Tell me, lowlander.{^n}{^n}Why do you risk your life here, so far from home?
Should I not?
We all make that choice for ourselves.{^n}{^n}I am not sure I would make the same one were I in your shoes.
I will not stand this corruption.
People here need my help.
Because it is the right thing to do.
Honestly, because I am curious.
Don't go to Guardian's Sorrow, lowlander.{^n}{^n}It is a dark place and a stain upon my people's history.
I have no choice.
